Paul: "I planted the seed in your hearts, and Apollos watered it, but it was GOD who made it grow. It's not important who does the planting, or who does the watering. What's important is that GOD makes the seed grow. The one who plants and the one who waters work together with the same purpose. And both will be rewarded for their own hard work." (1 Corinthians 3:6-8)

Roof-Top Garden in San Diego

The way is UP to this secret garden...

Then GOD said, "Let..." And that is what happened. (Genesis 1, NLT)

Then GOD said, "Let..." And that is what happened. (Genesis 1, NLT)

Detail-oriented is our Perfectionist ALL-mighty GOD Creator!

...the day of the LORD will come as unexpectedly as a thief. Then the heavens will pass away with a terrible noise, and the very elements themselves will disappear in fire, the earth and EVERYthing on it will be found to deserve JUDGMENT. (2 Peter 3:10)

The heavens proclaim the glory of GOD. The skies display His craftsmanship. Day after day, they continue to speak; night after night they make Him known. They speak without a sound or word; their voice is never heard. Yet their message has gone throughout the earth; and their words to ALL the world. (Psalm 19:1-4)

The heavens proclaim GOD's righteousness; every nation sees His glory. Those who worship idols are disgraced -- all who brag about their worthless gods -- for EVERY god must bow to Him. (Psalm 97:6-7, NLT)

The LIGHT shines in the darkness, and the darkness can NEVER extinguish it. (John :1:5)

Let ALL that i am praise the LORD; with my whole heart i will praise His holy name! Let ALL that i am praise the LORD; may i never forget the good things He does for me. He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. He redeems me from death and crowns me with LOVE and tender mercies. He fills my life with good things. My life is renewed like the eagle's! (Psalm 103:1-5, NLT)

NASELESELE BACKYARD 2014

Morning light spilling forth onto the backyard garden...

Naselesele Primary student on his way to the Village school...

"ALL things i can do through CHRIST JESUS who strengthens me" and "You shall know The TRUTH and The TRUTH will make you free" were my daily greetings... (Philippians 4:13 and John 8:32)

Just daily life around the house...

My brother-in-law and brother-IN-CHRIST Pelasio ("Seru") cleaning just-caught fish to share with some eager neighbors...

Sister-in-law and sister-IN-CHRIST Ana lending a big hand in peeling the many bags of cassava, with brothers-IN-CHRIST Toni and Seru...

My sister Ana completing this colorFUL array of rLn-planted blooms...

Little Lusiana Jazmyn (then just five months old, held safe by nei merlin) -- enjoying a little backyard talanoa with her oldest brother Leone...

Asenaca (our young neighbor next door) keeping Miriama company as she scales and guts fish...

Still-green mangoes just outside the window -- needing a few more weeks to mature and ripen...

"Nash BlueZ" rugby uniforms -- just washed, thanks to Ana's generous heart and hardworking hands. Ana is inDEED a Proverbs 31 woman!
A good woman is hard to find,
and worth far more than diamonds.
Her husband trusts her without reserve,
and never has reason to regret it.
Never spiteful, she treats him generously
    all her life long...
She’s up before dawn, preparing breakfast
for her family and organizing her day...
First thing in the morning, she dresses for work,
rolls up her sleeves, eager to get started.
She senses the worth of her work,
is in no hurry to call it quits for the day.
She’s skilled in the crafts of home and hearth,
    diligent in homemaking.
She’s quick to assist anyone in need,
reaches out to help the poor...
When she speaks she has something worthwhile to say,
and she always says it kindly.
She keeps an eye on everyone in her household,
and keeps them all busy and productive.
Her children respect and bless her;
her husband joins in with words of praise:
“Many women have done wonderful things,
    but you’ve outclassed them all!”
Charm can mislead and beauty soon fades.
The woman to be admired and praised
is the woman who lives in the Fear-of-God.
Give her everything she deserves!
    Festoon her life with praises!
(Proverbs 31:10-31, MSG)

What's NEW at the Naselesele FARM

Weeds -- always encroaching...

Dalo leaves, all lit up by the morning sunlight...

The coconut tree leaning over is the one Vili (na watiqu) climbs to get my favorite drink: fresh bu juice!

Impatience flowers -- still flourishing at the farm...GOD's reminder for me that LOVE IS PATIENT (1 Corinthians 13).

A gorgeous garland from GOD -- our heavenly Father and Creator.

Cucumber salad for dinner -- with sliced onion and ginger, and a dash of lemon juice.

Yep...like the weeds -- ever present!

Passion flower, about to unfurl...

Passion fruits, not yet ripe...
"You will know them by their fruits." (Matthew 7:16)

New mango leaves, colorful in its newness...

Moli (lemon)...

This sun-ripened-on-the-tree papaya was tasty!

The farmer (Vili) surrounded by sijan leaves (malunggay, in Filipino) -- Moringa Oleifera, the miracle plant.
Then GOD said, "Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth"; and it was so. (Genesis 1:11)
