REALLY Weird Stuff!

Mom didn't want to air her "dirty" laundry in cyber space...but i couldn't resist! This is Mom's homemade bagoong, in the process of becoming fish sauce.

Bagoong is a Philippine condiment that's popular in Hawaii and throughout the Pacific. Bagoong is made from shrimp or small fish that have been salted, cured and fermented for several weeks. The resulting salty liquid (called patis ) is drawn off and used separately as a sauce or condiment. In addition to being served as a condiment, bagoong is used as a flavoring in many dishes.

i like sun-dried laundry...so i'm doing the natural and free -- airing my clean "dirty laundry."

Another treasure from the ShoppE at Rose's...
...lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.(Matthew 6:20)
